My journey from chef to sharpener was driven by a single technical obsession: restoring the soul of the knife through edge geometry that defies the factory standard.
Now, I bring that culinary instinct to the bench. At Haines Sharpening, we utilize state-of-the-art precision grinding equipment to restore your tools to a technical standard that exceeds factory edges. This is artisanal craftsmanship backed by professional demand. We don't just sharpen knives; we optimize them for performance.
I use precision equipment to provide, clean and precise bevels with no over heating. The ability to provide custom edges and angles that result in razor sharp blades everytime!
All blades are finished by me by hand on a kangaroo tail strop.
